About Lisa
A graduate of Cornell University, Lisa spent the first part of her career focused on leadership and organizational development, working in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. Her journey into college advising began in 2008 when she transitioned from that career to helping students navigate the often overwhelming college application process by working with her mother, who had her own academic advising business. Over time, her own client base grew steadily through referrals, allowing her to develop a reputation for helping students gain admission to top-tier schools.
My Approach To College Advising
As a college advisor with a passion for helping students achieve their dreams, I have a proven track record of guiding students to some of the most competitive schools in the nation, including Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, University of Southern California, Tufts, and Washington University in St. Louis, among many others. What sets me apart as a college advisor is my highly personalized approach to each student’s application journey. I invest the time to get to know each student individually, asking thoughtful questions to uncover the unique qualities that have contributed to their success. By understanding the experiences and values that have shaped each student’s achievements, I am able to craft an application strategy that highlights their strengths and tells a compelling story. Through these strong relationships, I guide students in presenting themselves authentically to college admissions committees, helping them stand out in the competitive admissions process.
I take great pride in helping students not only succeed in gaining admission to their dream schools but also in fostering their personal growth and self-confidence throughout the journey. As we work through their applications, I watch students discover their own potential and begin to see themselves in a new light. This process is just as much about growth in self-worth as it is about gaining a place at a prestigious university. I am deeply committed to helping students not only get into the colleges they aspire to but to do so with the confidence that they are capable of achieving great things both inside and outside the classroom.
